Dear friends, This is a reminder to register for the WFUNA-Youth Online Plenary Meeting that will deal with changes to the WFUNA-Youth Rules of Procedure! So far 16 UN Youth Associations and UNAs Youth Programs/Sections etc. participate in it! As this meeting is a very important one for WFUNA-Youth, it is of great importance we have as many UNAs and UNYAs as possible participating! Thus, please register as soon as possible! WFUNA-Youth in
cooperation with the United Nations Youth Association Peru (AJNUP) is
happy to re-announce the call for applications for the second WFUNA-Youth in-Country
Project Management Workshop. As you are aware, the workshop was previously postponed
following the severe weather earlier this year.
The workshop is now planned to take place over the 28th to the 29th
May 2010 in Cusco,
Perú. This new concept of workshop is intended particularly, though not
exclusively, for members of UNYA Peru. For details of how to apply, please see

The Coordinating Committee released an update of their work so far, which includes an introduction of the Coordinating Committee, a summary of the 2nd WFUNA-Youth Plenary Meeting, a working practice within the Coordinating Committee, a timeline of our upcoming Project Management Workshops and information on the WFUNA-Youth Website and Online Plenary Meeting. Also, the Coordinating Committee set different aims for 2010 like different workshops and translations of the handbooks. You can find both documents here in the download section.

Many members of WFUNA-Youth organised some projects about the UN. Those are:
- UN Students Association Japan, seminar on “Population, Food and Natural Resources in the 21st Century”
- UN Youth Association Philippines (UNYAP), 10th International Youth Day Philippines Celebration and Millennium Development Goal Youth Summit
- Youth of UNA Tanzania (UNYAP), First Youth Forum for the International Conference on Great Lakes Region (ICGLR)
- YUNA Tanzania, seminar on the UN Charter during the Ruvuma Secondary Schools June Summit
- Youth Section of UNA Togo, a capacity building workshop in Lome
- UN Youth and Student Association (UNYSA) UK, developing plans for this year’s activities
